He married Martha E. Gibson Monroe Co., Tennessee, September 12, 1861.⁽¹³⁰⁾ Martha was born about 1845 in Tennessee.⁽¹³¹⁾ Martha was the daughter of Robert L. Gibson.

Darius Easterly Boyd and Martha E. Gibson had the following children:

77 i. Joseph³ Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1862.⁽¹³²⁾

78 ii. Alice Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1863.⁽¹³³⁾

79 iii. William Baxter Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1864.⁽¹³⁴⁾ Baxter died 1885 Benton Co., Arkansas, at 21 years of age. His body was interred Benton Co., Arkansas, Hart Cemetery.

80 iv. Robert Lee Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1867.⁽¹³⁵⁾

81 v. Mary Lee Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1868.⁽¹³⁶⁾

82 vi. Charley Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1871.⁽¹³⁷⁾

+ 83 vii. Sina Elizabeth Boyd was born about 1873.

84 viii. John Rufus Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1874.⁽¹³⁸⁾

85 ix. Emily Susanne Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1876.⁽¹³⁹⁾ She married John Heath Texas, December 30, 1890.
