3. John Kiker² Boyd (Jeremiah¹) was born in Tennessee October 19, 1815.⁽⁹⁾ John died June 22, 1864 at 48 years of age.⁽¹⁰⁾ His body was interred Bradley Co., Tennessee, Sugar Creek Methodist Cem.⁽¹¹⁾ Sugar Creek Methodist Church and Cemetary is located west of Union and a short distance south of the Red Clay road. This is one of the largest cemetaries in the county.

He married Leah Anna Barb McMinn Co., Tennessee, November 26, 1840.⁽¹²⁾ They were married by Jonathan Thomas, J.P.

Leahanna was born December 28, 1819 in Tennessee.⁽¹³⁾ Leahanna died June 20, 1878 at 58 years of age.⁽¹⁴⁾ Her body was interred Bradley Co., Tennessee, Sugar Creek Methodist Cem.⁽¹⁵⁾

John Kiker Boyd and Leah Anna Barb had the following children:

14 ii. Susan C. Boyd was born About 1846.⁽¹⁸⁾

16 iv. John W. Boyd was born About 1850.⁽²⁰⁾

17 v. Phillip M. Boyd was born March 24, 1852.⁽²¹⁾ Phillip died June 27, 1876 at 24 years of age.⁽²²⁾ His body was interred Bradley Co., Tennessee, Sugar Creek Methodist Cem.⁽²³⁾

18 vi. Martha E. Boyd was born about 1855.⁽²⁴⁾

19 vii. Wilber B. Boyd was born about 1858.⁽²⁵⁾

20 viii. Abraham W. Boyd was born Bradley Co., Tennessee March 16, 1860.⁽²⁶⁾

21 ix. Alice M. Boyd was born after 1860.⁽²⁷⁾
