He married Martha Phillips McMinn Co., Tennessee, November 25, 1847.⁽⁶⁹⁾ Martha was born about 1831 in Tennessee.⁽⁷⁰⁾

Andrew Boyd and Martha Phillips had the following children:

47 i. Martin A.³ Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1849.⁽⁷¹⁾

48 ii. Nancy S. Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1852.⁽⁷²⁾

49 iii. David L. Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1856.⁽⁷³⁾

50 iv. Martha M. Boyd was born in Tennessee about 1858.⁽⁷⁴⁾
